The project must comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and the City of Riverside will act as the lead agency in preparing the CEQA environmental review document. Some of the factors that are being considered during route evaluation and selection include biological resources, adjacent land uses, existing linear features (roads, utilities, etc.), right-of-way acquisition, and ways to reduce any potential impacts from the project.
RPU will be communicating with local agencies, elected officials, and the public throughout the project to provide updated information on routes and identify issues or questions.
Once the environmental document is completed, it will be posted on this website for public review and comment.
