RPU Assistant General Manager Daniel Garcia selected to participate in Executive Leadership opportunity with National Renewable Energy Lab
The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has selected 21 leaders to participate in its 2019 Executive Energy Leadership program (Energy Execs), which provides non-technical business, governmental, and community leaders an opportunity to learn about advanced energy technologies, analytical tools, and financing to guide their organizations and communities in energy-related decisions and planning.
Riverside Public Utilities is partnering with Riverside Corona Resources Conservation District and the Janet Goeske Center to offer a free series of training classes to help you achieve More Color with Less Water. Learn how to manage your soil, program your irrigation controller properly, troubleshoot your irrigation system, convert traditional irrigation to drip and how to remove and replace your lawn with low water use plants.
The educational series will be comprised of five classes each lasting for one and a half to two hours per class. The program is designed to give a comprehensive look at the major components of your landscaping. The classes are intended to complement each other but can be taken individually as well.
